Andrew Jens is the Chief Financial & Administrative Officer responsible for the finance and administrative functions of Climate Adviser group. His current work focuses on improving the efficiency, insightfulness, timeliness and accuracy of the accounting, financial planning and monthly reporting; maximizing the value of our human resource capital; and, ensuring the use of the most efficient and effective information technology.
Prior to joining Climate Advisers, Mr. Jens was the Managing Director of Finance at Drohan Management Group/Virtual, Inc., an association management company. Prior to that, he was Director of Finance and Operations at the International Council on Clean Transportation, an NGO advocating for decarbonization of the global transportation sector. And prior to that, he was the Senior Vice President of Finance and Administration with the National Investor Relations Institute.
Before moving to the nonprofit sector, he held positions with Motorola, Time Warner, General Motors and Westinghouse. He holds an M.B.A. in Finance from The University of Chicago and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin at Madison.
